Independent China-based sourcing agent for industrial chemicals and fertilizers. 6+ years factory-side in China, 500+ factories, 13+ product lines. End to end: verification, COA, inspection, shipping.
Six years on the factory side, then negotiating at the plant, now running sourcing for buyers end to end. This is how I work now: one person, one channel, from first email to your port.
For the first few years I was inside the plants. Opening samples, arguing specs with the lab, chasing production schedules that always slipped. I learned fast which factories actually run what they print on their website, and which ones quietly change the grade between the sample and the bulk order.
Later I started helping overseas buyers who kept hitting the same wall. Alibaba gave them a factory name, a price, and a handshake. When the container arrived off-spec, there was no one on the ground to call. So I started doing the job properly: verifying the plant, comparing three to five factories side by side, checking the COA before loading, and being the person who answers the phone when something goes wrong.
I could work for a trading house. I chose not to. A trading company has sales targets, a minimum order book to hit, and a product manager who rotates every two years. You end up talking to whoever happens to be on shift.
I'm a solo practice out of Changsha. The person who reads your COA is the same person who visits the plant, calls the factory when the schedule slips, and signs your B/L. If something goes wrong at your dock, you don't get bounced between a sales rep and a support queue. You get me.
My service fee is agreed in writing before any order is placed. You see the ex-works price from the factory; you know exactly what my service costs. No hidden fees. The price you see is the factory price plus my agreed service fee.
If you only need a factory phone number, I'm not the right fit. If you need someone to run the buying job end to end, we should talk.
Technically yes. But quality, schedules and after-sales are ongoing work. If you take it over, the follow-up becomes yours. If my service stops earning its fee, end the contract. No lock-in.
Service fee agreed in writing before any order, on top of the ex-works price you see. No hidden markup. Larger orders get a reduced rate.
No. I run the buying job end to end. If all you need is a phone number, I'm not the right fit. I'll say so upfront.
COA verified before loading, SGS or CIQ inspection on request, samples kept from each batch. I'd rather catch a problem in China than at your dock.
